Just some basic information on corn snakes
Habitat:
-Corn snakes are found in the eastern United States from southern New Jersey down through Florida, Louisiana and parts of Kentucky. However, corn snakes are most abundant in Florida and the southeastern U.S.
-They can be found in wooded groves, rocky hillsides, meadow lands, woodlots, barns, and abandoned buildings.
Diet in the wild:
-Corn Snakes in the wild don't usually eat every day, its usually every few days.
-Young corn snakes usually feed on small lizards, and tree frogs.
-Adults can feed on larger prey such as mice(rats), birds, and bats.

-Corn snakes are oviparous, developing a clutch from 10-30 egg in late May to July
-In the wild eggs would be laid in rotting stumps and other locations similar that would have sufficient heat, and humidity for incubation of the eggs
-Mother snake does not care for her egg or young
-Eggs will show signs of hatching with in 59-65 days at around 80-84 degrees
-Hatchlings will be about 10-15 inches long

-But in the wild the life span might be much shorter
