Some information on Bearded Dragons
Habitat:
-Bearded dragons are only found in Australia (subtropical woodlands, scrub lands, savannas, shore areas, and into the great interior deserts)
Diet in the wild:
-Bearded dragons are opportunistic omnivores
-Their diet varies from plant matter, spiders, insects, small rodents, and small lizards
Breeding:
-Bearded dragons reach sexual maturity around 1-2 years of age
-Breeding season is from September through March
-Female can lay up to over 24 eggs each clutch
-Bearded dragons can lay up to 9 clutches each year
-Hatchlings are average 3-4 inches long
Life span:
-In captivity Bearded dragons can live 10 years+
-In the wild it can be shorter or longer
